September 17^th, 2000 His Excellency Bishop Flavio Roberto Carraro OFM Cap, of Verona celebrated a solemn high Mass, Tridentine rite in the Church of S. Toscana in Verona where traditional Masses have been celebrated since 1994 with the permission of Bishop Attilio Nicora (decree March 23^th, 1994, Prot. N. 49/94).

It is no doubt a relevant historical event, wehras for the first time in Venetia (and very rarely in Italy) a bishop celebrated in latin in his diocese according to 1962’s Missal after the liturgical reform. This has been possible thanks to Una Voce Verona and its management in particular to the efforts of its President Maurilio Cavedini.
